Our philosophy

We help people who feel stuck reclaim their lives through compassionate, trauma-informed care, treating both the mind and the body, never one without the other.

Inside the clinic

A look around before you arrive

Walking into a new clinic is its own hurdle. Here is a short look at our Bowen Hills space, so the first visit feels a little less unknown.

A gentler way to feel like yourself again

Five things you can count on from your first call to your last session.

01

Personalised treatment

Never one-size-fits-all. A care plan shaped around you and your situation.

02

Compassionate care

Gentle, unhurried therapists who make sure you feel safe and understood.

03

Evidence-based

Every plan is grounded in current science, so your care is care that works.

04

Balanced approach

Psychology and nutrition together, treating the whole of you - mind and body.

05

A diverse team

Nine practitioners across specialities, so you're matched with the right fit.

The mind–body connection

What you eat shapes how you feel - so we treat both.

We're one of the few Brisbane clinics to bring psychology and nutrition under one roof. Our practitioners work side by side, using the strong link between food and mood to help you get well - and stay well.

It's a more complete kind of care: dietary counselling and education alongside therapy, all tailored to your goals.

What to expect

What working with us actually looks like

Your first session

Fifty minutes, and mostly listening. We want to understand what has been happening and what you are hoping for before anyone talks about a plan. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.

The approaches we use

Our psychologists draw on EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. Which approach fits depends on you, and your psychologist will talk it through rather than apply a formula.

Who you will see

Every psychologist here is registered with AHPRA, and the team includes members of the Australian Psychological Society. You can read each practitioner's background and areas of practice before you book.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I need an Adult ADHD assessment?+

If you struggle with chronic disorganisation, focus, impulsivity or emotional regulation, an assessment may help. Ours involves a comprehensive clinical interview and validated screening tools, followed by a tailored plan of practical strategies for work and life.

My teenager is struggling with anxiety and school refusal. Can you help?+

Absolutely. Our child & teen team uses age-appropriate, evidence-based therapies to help young people manage anxiety, build resilience and navigate school pressures, working closely with parents to create a supportive home.

Are telehealth sessions as effective as in-person?+

Yes. Research shows telehealth is highly effective for anxiety, depression and stress, with the same quality of care and the added comfort of attending from home. Secure, confidential video sessions with the same psychologists you'd see in clinic.

What is the "food–mood connection"?+

It's the scientific link between gut health, diet and brain function. What you eat directly affects mood, energy and anxiety. Our nutritionists work alongside our psychologists to stabilise blood sugar, reduce inflammation and support brain health.

Do you offer Saturday appointments?+

Yes. We know life is busy, so we offer Saturday psychology appointments at our Bowen Hills clinic, the same high-quality care, fitted around your work and family.
