Shaista has an interest in assisting clients on their journey to improve their mental wellbeing and overcome issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma-related difficulties, and workplace difficulties.
Shaista is a respectful, compassionate, and works in a culturally sensitive manner. Shaista employs a range of evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities based on the client’s individual presentation and needs. This includes Mindfulness-based interventions, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions focused therapy, and trauma-informed interventions.
Shaista has experience working with adults with workplace stressors and difficulties, along with providing EAP services. Shaista has a special interest in working with Veterans to improve their mental health and assist with their assimilation to the civilian world.
