Working primarily with anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence, Sophie is a warm, compassionate, and authentic psychologist. Sophie works collaboratively and transparently, validating experiences nonjudgmentally and empathetically.
Sophie builds a sense of agency and empowerment with clients in a way that is safe, evidence-based, and trauma-informed.

Sophie is affirming of your experiences as part of LGBTQIA+ communities, neurodivergent communities, or experiences particular to your cultural, religious, or spiritual background. Sophie has a particular interest and familiarity in working with young adults 18-30 years, but enjoys working with people at all stages of life.
Sophie’s psychology training has an emphasis on working with people with neurodevelopmental differences, with thorough training in psychological assessment, particularly the assessment of ADHD and Specific Learning Disorders (eg: dyslexia and dyscalculia) in adults and young people.
In counselling sessions, Sophie uses evidence-based approaches informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Individual Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Attachment, Biopsychology and Mindfulness.
Sophie works on the unceded sovereign lands of Turrbal and Yuggera people and pays respects to elders and communities of past, present, and future by committingto decolonisation, antiracism, and reconciliation in personal and professional practice.
